Mini Session | Arlington Family Lifestyle Photographer

I saw the Okezie family almost one year to the day after we did a newborn session for their baby girl. It is so much fun to see families come back year after year as their family grows. As we wandered around Theodore Roosevelt Island Park in Arlington, Virginia, I captured some sweet moments between mom, dad, brother, and sister. Mom helped big brother learn to correctly throw rocks, dad tossed him in the air and held him by one foot. Little sister, always serious, observed and was quiet…except when she fell. But the image of her looking at her daddy while her momma kisses her cheek is timeless. How many times has that moment happened to you and your child? Also, check out the shoe in the last pic. Every one of my kids did that at this age!
