Remember Hurricane Florence? Our photo session was scheduled for the weekend she was supposed to hit DC, but these two decided that as long as it was safe, we’d go ahead with the shoot rain or shine. It wasn’t rain, but it wasn’t shine…It was a perfectly cloudy day with lots of muddle puddles, and very full Tidal Basin, and one happy baby girl with her momma!

When this baby girl was born about a year ago, we joked that no one was going to tell her how to do things: she made her own decisions, beginning with her birth! Well, things haven't changed since!
